Here’s a list of my favourites from the month of August…

Nelsons Teething Granules…

These have been a lifesaver this month with A getting his bottom teeth. I think there almost through the skin but that could also just be wishful thinking. When Aidan gets his teething pain I give him one of these sachets, which are completely natural, and he is immediatly at ease and sometimes even falls asleep, talk about going from one extreme to the other. I hadnt heard of teething granules until we were recommended them by a pharmacists because most teething relief is only suitable in babies over 4 months but because these are 100% natural theyre suitable for any age. I am very tempted to try one now because my wisdom tooth is coming up and Im whining more than A.

Bright Starts Links…

I first saw these on Anna Saccones baby must haves around 2 years ago and got them. In the last few weeks they’ve been one of my go to things to distract A when he’s having a little ‘moment’. They come in a pack of 24 for €4.99, lots of different colours and textures and easy for little hands to hold.

Baby TV…

I don’t even know how I originally came across baby TV but am I glad I did. I don’t like to let Aidan watch TV too much but for 10-15 minutes while I get myself ready or tidy up a little bit it’s been ideal. It’s got a whole range of cartoon videos but we are huge fans of the nursery rhymes playlist at the moment. Any parents looking for a few minute distraction check out Baby TV on YouTube.

Tommee Tippee Sangenic…

I was very much on the fence when it came to getting a nappy disposal system but when I saw this on sale in Supervalue for €15 I said I’d try it. In the last few weeks with our old friend rain back it’s been ideal to put dirty nappies in meaning I didn’t have to go out in the rain. It wraps each nappy individually and there is no smell from it whatsoever. The refills are about €17 for three, and last about a month each. I think this will become very handy with the winter coming in at the same time as solid foods are being introduced!

Baby Elegance Pillow…

Aidan can now sit up aided so instead of me having to sit there and hold him all day long I decided to invest in something to support him. I found a boppy like pillow in smyths by baby elegance for €25 and it’s been ideal to support him. It comes with a washable cover too which is a must with baby stuff.

So those are the things I’ve used most this month.. What are your favourite things this month?

Until next time,

El x
