I’m baaack! I took a break from blogging over Christmas – I hadn’t planned to I just ended up completely absorbed by Christmas and spending time with family, which I really enjoyed. It’s done me the world of good and I’ve come back with so many posts floating around my head. I really missed doing my Happy Days link up and considering I only realised it was Saturday because of twitter some of the following information may be from the last couple of weeks – it all seems like one long week to me.
Out and About
We’ve been out and about a lot over Christmas from dinner parties to ‘social gatherings’ (we all know what that really means!). Unfortunately over the last few days we’ve been pretty homebound because A has developed a terrible cold and is teething all together – I miss sleep!
Fun at Home
Aidan is desperate to learn to crawl. He can almost get up onto his knees so it’s been a lot of fun watching that.
I took down all my Christmas decorations on New Year’s Eve – although I love Christmas I do enjoy getting the extra 20 square feet back now they’re all gone!
Well this week has been madness blog-wise. First I found I had made the Tots100 top 1000 which was a massive shock considering I haven’t really blogged this month. Then my blog reached 10,000 views on Christmas day – woo. But then I reverted to 0 page views when I made the big switch to WordPress self-hosted.
Time for Me
I literally have nothing to put into this section. Time for me seems as likely as winning the lottery these days. Poor Aidan is so sick he just wants attention all the time meaning any time I get alone I use to sleep because that too is about as likely as.. something else unlikely (my brain is too sleepy to put words to use).
Real Life: Seeing Aidan almost crawling – my baby is growing up so quickly!
Blog Life: Finally going self-hosted (minus the stressful bits)
Next Week I would like to…
Have some me time and some sleep. I would love for Aidan to get over his cold and pop a tooth, have a pamper evening and sleep until 10. I would also like to win the lottery.
