October is a crazy month for us. It seems we have things planned for the entire month so I am trying to get the boys Halloween costumes sorted early. I haven’t decided what to dress them as yet (although everyone says Finn should be a pumpkin because, yano, the hair.). Here are some of the super adorable kids costumes I found online… (more…)
Previously, I mentioned that we had changed Aidan’s diet in the past few months. I came across the GFCF diet purely by accident and decided to give it a go. It is a struggle to find too many resources on the GFCF lifestyle other than a handful of websites. So, I decided to talk a little bit about it on the blog to help any other parents who may be thinking of giving it a try. (more…)
I admit I’ve been putting off this post for a while. Why? I’m really not sure but I guess I wasn’t sure if I was ready to share it with the world yet. (Pfft as if the whole world reads my blog!). (more…)
Like most parents, I tend to put myself at the bottom of the pile. I usually sort the kids, the dinner, the laundry, the house and then fall into bed. A few weeks ago, I attended the Deise blogger event and was given a very generous goody bag (actually 5 generous goody bags!). As the event was more beauty and skincare than parenting I came home with lots of new products for me – something I am not used to! I decided to give myself some pamper time and try out a few things.
I was contacted by the lovely people at Chicco a few weeks ago and told about the new bottle range they were about to launch – the Chicco Natural Feeling range. (more…)
I think everyone turns to Pinterest when looking for decor ideas (or new hairstyles/baking/makeup/crafts/everything else). Many lost hours have been spent in the never-ending hole of house goals. I do put a lot of effort into one room though – the boy’s playroom. I tend to lean towards the fun and colourful designs. Here are some of the photos in my Playroom Pinspiration board… (more…)
I spoke before about Aidan’s love for his iPad and how he could put on his own cartoons from 18 months – one of my proudest achievements to date! A few weeks ago the people from Kidloland got in touch and thought Aidan might enjoy their app.
Kidloland is a free app, available on Apple store, Google play store and Amazon store, which comes with a selection of free songs and games. However, for a subscription fee you gain access to over 490 nursery rhymes, songs and games. Aimed at preschool kids, Kidloland has games which help with their motor skills, sorting, memory and much more. Using bright colours, interactive animals and songs it is bound to keep your child entertained for hours. (more…)
In my recent ‘Top 5 summer essentials‘ post, I mentioned our new favourite sun cream from Childs Farm. Up to now, I thought all sun creams done the same job so just pick one with a high factor. I was wrong. (more…)
I have been a little MIA on both the blog and my Youtube channel but since the rain has gone away and I have a child destined to be outdoors and another who refuses to sleep all day until about 9pm the time I get on the laptop is usually with one eye struggling to stay open. We have been outside from first thing in the morning to last thing at night a lot lately. I am in no way complaining I love that Aidan is such a little explorer. The weather and types of days out we are having are very different to those of a few months ago and so the contents of my changing bag are a little different too. Here are some of my summer bag essentials for the sunny days and adventures.. (more…)
A few weeks ago I published a post about how I cleared my cystic acne, and never in a million years did I expect the response it got. It became my most popular post in a matter of hours. I promised in that post to share my current skin care routine which then had to take a back seat after an allergic reaction to a new product I was trialling. Here is a list of products I use, some interchangeably. (more…)
