* Give the 10 Bloggers, 10 new questions
So here’s Becky questions to me:
1. eBay/Second hand or brand new only?
I don’t think I’ve ever bought anything second hand, I have a slight obsession with germs and cleanliness which always has me panicking about where it’s been before. I don’t mind second hand if its from someone I know but my OCD wouldn’t stretch further than that I think.
2. We all have that one hideous thing we remember our Mum and Dad making us wear! What was it?
Oh god it was the ugliest grey and black “Russian” style hate, I’ll see if I can find a picture online. God it was awful. I think it’s borderline cruelty!
|-Apparently they loved me?|
3. Whats the most expensive thing you have bought for yourself since having babies?
I haven’t bought anything for myself since having A other than a few t-shirts and a hoody, which is bizarre because before having him I was an obsessive shopper. However, I am planning on purchasing a new camera next week so I guess that will be the most expensive item.
Stokke Tripp Trapp. I mentioned in a recent post that we got Aidan’s Tripp Trapp with all the fittings (except the newborn insert obviously) so we are exciting to start using that. It was pretty expensive but as something that can be used for life it seems like a good investment, plus I love the idea of having him eat at the table with us.
I got through phases of loving each one. It’s been Facebook for a little while but Twitter seems to be taking a slight lead again. I am finding Twitter a great way to find other bloggers too.
Ohh tough one. The first mummy blogger I came across was Anna Saccone and loved all her monthly updates and such so she influenced me to begin blogging. However, I feel mums like Bump to Baby, Lucie and the bump and Mrs Meldrum that I’ve discovered since have inspired my current way of writing.
Weekly meal planning and weekly shopping. Up until several weeks ago we would pick up food after work every second night for dinners and snacks resulting in ridiculous amounts of money being spent on food. Since changing to a weekly shop and meal planning we have seen a huge saving in our budget. Woo!
Holidays! For two reasons, mainly because I need sun in my life and Ireland (apart from this summer) has no idea what that is. Also, if I were to stay home I know I would end up cleaning or something and it wouldn’t end up being a vacation at all.
